Research activities:
The Laboratory for the Positioning of Underwater Constructions and Robots has focused its research on the following issues:
- smart systems for precise motion control and positioning of ocean-going vessels,
- methods of integrating LBL positioning systems and inertial measurement sensors in order to reduce the number of LBL transponders in the underwater geodetic network,
- calibration methods for LBL and USBL positioning systems under marine conditions using Kalman and neural filters.
