Research activities:

The Laboratory for Land and Offshore Survey Data Processing (DPr Lab) has focused its research on the following issues:

• smart systems for vessel traffic management systems and navigators' decision support,
• new formats and methods for the compression of land and offshore survey data aimed at reducing its storage volume.

The Laboratory will be dedicated to research in the analysis and processing of geo-information data. Such expertise is becoming increasingly important in the maritime sector including offshore mining, offshore survey, land survey and aerial survey.
